Students have two options:

1. Come to school in their PE kit for the remainder of the week. As a reminder, this consists of:

• Red academy short-sleeved Polo shirt /Multi-top

• Black academy shorts are ideal in this weather, but students can also wear their academy tracksuit bottoms or leggings if they are more comfortable in them. 

• Suitable trainers

2. Come to school in their normal uniform, but no tie or blazer.

Students should bring a reusable water bottle to school every day so they can stay hydrated. Water coolers are available throughout the academy for students to refill their bottles.

Students should apply sunscreen before leaving for school in the morning. Students may also bring sunscreen with them to reapply during the day.

We will be regularly monitoring the temperature in classrooms to ensure that they remain as cool as possible. At social times, all students have access to ventilated indoor spaces and shaded areas outside.

Uniform will return to normal next week.
