GCSE Results Day

Congratulations to all our Year 11 students on reaching the end of their exams! We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication.

GCSE Results Day

We are looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 students back to the academy to collect their results:

  • Date: Thursday 20th August

  • Time: 10.00am – 11.30am

  • Location: Co-op Academy Manchester, Plant Hill Road, M9 0WQ

How to collect results

  • Students are expected to come into school in person to collect their official results slips.

  • If a student is absolutely unable to attend, they may nominate an adult to collect the results on their behalf. To do this, the nominated adult must bring the following two items:

    1. A letter of permission signed by the student, stating the full name of the adult authorised to collect their results.

    2. Valid photo ID for the adult collecting (e.g. a driving license or passport).

To protect student privacy and data security, we strictly cannot release results to anyone else, nor can we hand them over without the required signed letter and ID.

Post-results support & staff availability

We understand that students may have questions or want support after receiving their results.

  • Our Careers Team will be at the academy on results morning and will also be available the following week for drop-in appointments (Monday 24th - Thursday 27th August). They can be contacted by email to make an appointment: manc-careers@coopacademies.co.uk

  • Our Exams Team will be available to answer urgent queries regarding grades by email on Friday 21st August. They will be available again from Wednesday 2nd September: manc-exams@coopacademies.co.uk

  • Class teachers will be available to answer subject-specific queries when they return to school in September. You can expect a response after Wednesday 2nd September: manc-enquiries@coopacademies.co.uk

College enrolment

In order to enrol at college, students must show their GCSE results and attend their arranged appointment. This is important, even if they feel they have not met the entry requirements.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday 20th August and celebrating their achievements!
