The mocks will run from Wednesday 30th September to Friday 16th October 2026.

The timetable is available on the exams page of our website. Students will be given a more detailed paper version of their timetable during tutor time. A few students will have a ‘clash’– this is where two of their subjects have an exam at the same time. These students will be given a personalised timetable so they know which exam they will sit on each day. 

Arriving on time

Students must have come through the academy gates as normal, before 8.20am. This is even more important during the mock exam period, as exams will start promptly. In order to ensure students do not miss any exams, we will check registers at 8.35am, and will make calls home for any absent students. It is essential that students are on time to maximise the time they have, but also so they don’t disrupt the exam for other students by walking in late.

Free breakfast

All students have access to free toast and crumpets in Diner 1 every day. This is a great space to eat breakfast and complete some independent revision.

Mobile phones/smartwatches/ear phones/air pods

Mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones, and AirPods are not allowed in exams under any circumstances. If a student is found with a prohibited device, it will be treated as a serious offence, likely resulting in disqualification from the exam. During the real exams, all such incidents must be reported to the exam board for further investigation. All devices must be placed in students' bags and left outside the exam room.

Parent/carer information webinar

We know that supporting your child through their final year of school can feel like a big task. That is why we're hosting a live online session for parents and carers. 

Mr Moosa, Assistant Vice Principal with responsibility for Year 11, will be explaining the importance of the mock exams and sharing practical, effective strategies that students can use for preparation, as well as outlining how parents and carers can help.
