Luca Steps Up to Salford Red Devils Future Talent Programme!

We love celebrating the brilliant achievements of our students both inside and outside the classroom. We are incredibly proud to share some amazing sporting news about Year 7 student, Luca Murray.
Luca, who plays amateur rugby league for the Langworthy Reds U13s, has caught the eye of several professional rugby teams recently. Thanks to his hard work, talent, and dedication, he has been selected to join the Salford Red Devils Foundation Future Talent Programme!
This is a massive achievement. Out of all the talented young players across school Years 7, 8, and 9, only 70 children were chosen for this special pathway. Luca attended his official club induction last night, marking the start of an exciting journey where he will be trained by professional coaches and staff, all working towards a future in the first team.
His PE teacher, Mr Mills, says Luca's success comes as no surprise:
"Here at school, Luca brings that exact same elite drive and dedication to his PE lessons. He is a fantastic sporting all-rounder who consistently models our Co-op Ways of Being. Exceptionally hard-working and always respectful, Luca sets a brilliant example for his peers by constantly striving to improve his own skills while lifting those around him. We are incredibly proud to have such a dedicated young athlete representing our school community!"
We want to say a huge congratulations to Luca and his family. Seeing our students succeed and chase their ambitions is what matters most.
Well done, Luca! We are all backing you!
