About Mrs. Clifton

Mrs. Clifton joins us with a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success. She is currently a highly successful Deputy Headteacher at Co-op Academy Stoke, where she has been a dedicated leader for the past 10 years.

Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated an impressive ability to raise student achievement and has been the driving force behind improving the quality of teaching and learning at her current Academy. During the interview process, the recruitment panel was particularly struck by her:

Strengthening our leadership team

As we enter this new chapter, I want to reassure you that stability and continued progress remain our top priorities. To ensure Mrs. Clifton has the strongest possible start, I will be continuing my work at Co-op Academy Manchester on a permanent basis.

In my role as Executive Headteacher, I will be supporting both Co-op Academy Failsworth and Co-op Academy Manchester across all aspects of leadership. This structure allows us to build directly on the improvements we have made this year and provides a robust support system for Mrs. Clifton and the wider leadership team.
