Dear parents and carers,
We hope that you have all had a lovely and restful summer. This letter contains some really important information about the start of the school year.
As our academic year comes to a close, we would like to thank you for the support you have shown throughout the year. It has been another extremely busy, but very rewarding year, as we continue to move from ‘Good’ to ‘GREAT’.
GCSE Results Day takes place on Thursday 21 August. Students will be able to collect their exam results in person between the hours of 9am and 12pm.
Following the letter we recently shared with you on behalf of Nick Lowry, Regional Director (Manchester and Oldham), I would like to provide you with some additional information regarding uniform.
Dear parents and carers,
It is with mixed emotions that I am writing to inform you of my decision to step down as Principal of Co-op Academy Manchester at the end of the current academic year.
We are delighted to be able to confirm the details for our 2025 Sports Day. All students will be attending the event and will be out of the academy for the entire day.
From September 2025, students who choose to wear a skirt to school must wear tights.
I am writing to consult you on some proposed changes to the school day and holiday pattern for September 2025 onwards. Please could you discuss these changes as a family at home and if you have any feedback, please let us know.
We are quickly approaching the final exams and want to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support. It has been a challenging but rewarding year for Year 11 and we have been so impressed with their efforts and determination during this time.
Our teachers are looking forward to meeting you at our Year 8 Progress Evening on Thursday 26 June 2025, 4pm - 7pm. This is an in-person event taking place at the academy.
