New Headteacher appointment

Our new Headteacher, Mrs Joanne Clifton, will officially join the academy on Thursday 11th June.

Mrs Clifton joins us from Co-op Academy Stoke, where she has been a dedicated leader for the past 10 years.

A small change to our morning routine

To make sure our classrooms are calm and ready for learning, we are making a small change to our morning routine.

From Tuesday 2 June, our school gates will be locked at 8.25am.

We have written to all parents and carers this week. You can read the full letter here.

Year 10 mock exams

Year 10 mocks are really important because they help teachers and students identify areas for future focus as they prepare for their final GCSEs.

Students will complete three rounds of mock exams in total. The first of these is in June 2026.

Our Community Fridge, Little Library & Seed Swap reopens this week:

  • Wednesdays & Thursdays, 11.30am - 12.30pm
  • Fridays, 3.30-4pm

Let’s Grow Together community event
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces at our Let's Grow Together event during the half-term break. The sun was shining beautifully, and we all enjoyed cooling down with some delicious ice pops!
