Reading Rulers

You may have noticed your child with a 'GREAT' bookmark in their pencil case. These bookmarks are used during Form Time and lessons as reading rules – one of our key reading strategies.

Read more about how reading rulers work.

Filming & photography in the academy

Next Monday, a professional photographer will be visiting our academy. They will be capturing everyday life at school, including lessons, break times, and lunch.

We want every student to feel comfortable. Students can opt out on the day if they prefer not to be photographed. Please take a moment to chat with your child about what they prefer.

Home learning

This week we have set home learning for Year 10 and 11 students on Sparx Maths. They have until Monday 2nd November to complete it.

Don't forget to check the home learning timetable for your child.

Year 11 mocks

Year 11 mock exams continue this week.

Further information, including the exam timetable, can be found here.

Fair Deal - a letter from our Trust
