National School Attendance Award

Last year, our students, families, and staff showed amazing determination to improve attendance across the academy. We are delighted that this has been recognised with a national award!

And this year, we want to keep that momentum going! We’ve set each year group an exciting attendance challenge this week. Students are taking part on their designated day, and we can't wait to celebrate their hard work with prizes and rewards this Friday.

Please make sure your child arrives at school by 8.20am to make their morning mark count! Thank you for working with us to help our students succeed together.

Home learning

This week we have set home learning for students in Years 7, 8 and 9 on Sparx Maths. Year 7 have also been set homework on Sparx Reader. They have until Monday 9th November to complete it.

Check the home learning timetable for your child.

Changes to Year 7 classes

We are making a few adjustments to our Year 7 class and tutor group structures, which means that some students will be moving to a new tutor group and joining new classes.

Parent survey

If your child is in Year 7 or 8, or if they joined us mid-year in Years 9, 10, or 11, please take a moment to complete the survey below.

Further details

This year, we have moved away from one big parental survey, to more frequent smaller surveys of around 10 questions. We will ask for parent/carer opinions each term, and hope that the shorter surveys will make it easier for you to tell us what you think.

Your views really are important to us, and will help us understand what is working well and where we can improve further. The survey is open until the end of October. Thank you in advance for taking time to complete it.
