Home learning

Students in all year groups will be set homework on Sparx Maths. It will be set on a Monday and must be completed within 2 weeks. Many students have already been using Sparx Maths outside their lessons. This has shown a positive impact on their progress.

Home learning timetables and further information can be found here.

Our PSHE curriculum

We promote personal wellbeing and development through our personal, social, health and economics (PSHE) programme.

Full details, including the topics being studied this half-term, can be found here..

Important information for Year 11

Mocks

The first set of Year 11 mock exams is scheduled to begin shortly. Mocks are a vital part of exam preparation, providing students and staff with an accurate measure of progress and highlighting areas for revision before the final summer exams.

Further information, including the exam timetable, can be found here.

Careers support

Throughout Year 11, we offer lots of support to help students with their next steps after high school. This includes guidance meetings, support with college and apprenticeship applications, and visits from further education providers.

Read more about this support and find a list of college open days.

All of the above information has also been emailed to parents and carers of students in Year 11.

Community Fridge update

The Community Fridge will reopen on:

Wednesday 23rd September

2.45pm - 3.45pm

It will open every Wednesday at this time, during term time only.

Parking outside the academy

The academy is on a busy but narrow main road. At the end of the school day, it can get very busy with parents and carers collecting students, the school bus and other local traffic. You may find it easier to collect your child a short time after the end of the school day, or park further away from the academy.

Please don't park on double yellow or zigzag lines, as this can make it unsafe for our children and block the road.
