Reporting absence

Did you know - parents and carers can now log a same day absence for their child in Arbor.

Click on the 'Attendance' section in Arbor and the note will go straight to the attendance team. There is a help guide here.

Please use this method rather than message the school - it takes us longer to process incoming messages. Thanks for your help.

Students with overdrawn accounts in the canteen

In response to feedback from parents and carers asking us to help them avoid getting into further debt, there are now limits in the canteen.

We would like to assure parents and carers that students who have an overdrawn account will still be able to access food and water. All students are welcome to a free breakfast before school. At lunch time they can have either a sandwich or a jacket potato with one filling (accounts will still be charged for these items). If students want a drink they will be given a cup to fill with water - there are water fountains in all the diners and around the academy which students can use to fill up their water bottles.

Unfortunately we can't provide food at break time as well because the tills can't recognise when a student has already bought something that day. If your child is turned away at break time, please remind them they can purchase food at lunch time.
