Traffic congestion

Please be considerate when dropping off or picking up students outside school. Plant Hill Road is very narrow, and we must ensure that there is always access for local residents and emergency vehicles.

If your child comes to school by car, please consider dropping them off further down the road and asking them to walk the last bit.

Lost Property

We have numerous items in lost property.

If your child has lost anything at school, please tell them to come to the Lost Property office at break time, where somebody will be available to help reunite them with their belongings.

We strongly encourage parents to label all items of uniform.

Children's Mental Health Week – 9-15th Feb

All this week our school counsellor will be offering drop-in sessions in the library after school.

There is also a new self-help shelf in the academy library, providing a variety of books on wellbeing and mental health.

Or have a look at the online library ePlatform service, which offers lots of eBooks and audiobooks, covering topics such as mental health as well as lots of fiction and non-fiction.

If your child needs help logging on to ePlatform, please ask them to visit the academy library, which is open during break, at lunch and after school.
