Arbor for communications

The main way we contact parents and carers is via the Arbor Parent Portal. All communications, detention notifications and information about trips are sent via Arbor.

To ensure you stay up-to-date with important school information, if you haven't already, please register on the portal here: coopmanchester.uk.arbor.sc

Once registered, we recommend that you download the Arbor app (you will need to sign in and enable push notifications). To log in, you must use the email address we have on our database for you. Click 'First time logging in?' to finish setting up your account for the first time.

Download the app for iOS (Apple/iPhone)

Download the app for Android (Google Play Store)

From the Arbor Parent Portal/App you can:

  • Message us for free

  • Update your contact information

  • View your child's timetable

  • View your child's attendance

  • View your child's rewards and behaviour data

  • Top up your child's lunch account: Here is a useful guide on how to top-up your child's lunch money.

  • Consent for your child to take part in school trips and activities

  • Book appointments for Progress Evenings. Arbor calls this "Guardian Consultations": Here is a useful guide on how to book appointments

  • You will soon be able to purchase uniform on Arbor

Having issues?

The most common issue is that the phone number or email address we have on file for you is different to the one you are using to log in to Arbor. Please contact reception to check.

Alternatively, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Frankenstein

Please be aware that the new Netflix film 'Frankenstein' is not loyal to the novel that students study as part of their English Literature GCSE.

Characters' names have been changed, their behaviour differs from the novel and the plot has been altered.

Some students may find that watching the film confuses their understanding of the plot and characters.

Anti-bullying week

This week is Anti-bullying Week.

Our safeguarding team are delivering assemblies to Years 7 to 10.

We are asking students and staff to wear odd socks on Friday – either under trousers or over tights.

Community Fridge update

Our Community Fridge has been relocated - it will now be accessed via Gate 1. This will enable us to open the Fridge more often and during the school day.

New opening days and times will be communicated as soon as possible.
